I haven’t read the book. I like LaToya. That said, just generally speaking, I think true healing doesn’t take place until a person takes responsibility for his own actions. Not everything can be someone else’s fault. I think a good editor may have been able to make her see that – or a good therapist. lol. Also, I think we have to take responsibility for the people we let into our life, and for whatever it is in us that keeps them there. Pointing fingers never works out for us. Unless we are pointing at ourselves because at the end of the day we are responsible for our own lives and our own decisions. I was around a lot of the LaToya/Jack Gordon business, so I’ll be interested in reading about it. That said, let’s wish her the best, okay? Let’s just hold a place for her to have a very good life from this point onward. That’s what I’m going to do.
